“Lest you be judged”: you have a naïveté when it comes to politics, not the author. First, the Bible demands that Anti-Christ will arise and helm a one-world government. Do you doubt Biblical inerrancy and prophesy? That’s fine is you do, but then I question your Christianity.
Second, China, Russia, the U.S., the IMF, the E.U., the U.N., the Bildergroup, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and on and on … have FOR DECADES been demanding a “New World Order” with a “one-world currency.” Where have YOU been for the last 40 years? The current economic “meltdown” is engineered by the very “leaders” claiming to want to “fix it.” Their true goal, as the article asserts, is to create a sequence of criseses that will pressure nations into giving up their sovereignty for false “security” in global government/currency.
Last, the article never suggests Obama is the Anti-Christ. It is fitting that you have labeled your post “Ill-informed.” You are the most ignorant poster to date on this article. It is usually the people who think they are “enlightened” that are actually the most ignorant.
This needs further discussion. Do I understand that Cindy and Ian you are in favour of the article and Lest you be judged is quite alarmed by what has been said about Obama? There are mixed views about what Obama is or isn’t, there is no question there. What else has been linked to end time prophecy? Are we close to the end?
There is no way that China, Russia or the US would give their currency over to take up an international currency. One thing is for certain, the distrust and animosity major powers have for each other will prevent one government or currency from occurring. They have a hard enough time agreeing to the simplest monetary decisions to keep one currency from undercutting another. The thinking in this article shows knowledge of scripture but a deep ignorance of international politics. And to imply that Obama is the Anti-Christ is just hatemongering, unfit for a true Christian.
I suppose we should just all sit back and take a front row seat to all of this. It’s coming, as promised. A New World. WE are NOT in control.
We may THINK we are. WE are not. God is.
