When I look up to the stars in the sky
I begin to feel quite small
I’m so amazed by Your love
How I could even matter at all
My life is like a grain of sand
A speck just passing through time
I’m so amazed by Your love
That You would hold Your hand in mine
That You can care about my little life
About the things that happen day to day
I’m so amazed by Your love
And I’m so thankful for Your grace
Thank You for loving me today
Thank You for loving me as I am
I’m so amazed by Your love
And by the sacrifice of the Lamb
How You could love me, I don’t know
Yet every way I see Your concern
And I’m amazed even more by Your love
It’s so much more than I deserve
To send Your son to die for me
When most times I feel so lost
I’m so amazed by Your love
He had to pay the highest cost
What can I do to be worthy?
I know I’ll fall short every day
And I’m amazed even more by Your love
So I will lift my voice and say
Thank You for loving me today
Thank You for loving me as I am
I’m so amazed by Your love
And by the sacrifice of the Lamb

Even though we are small and insignificant, we are still precious in His sight. His love is bigger than the universe, our troubled days, and our fears.
Beautiful poem. Wonderful truths.
