Jesus was a silent child, of mystery they say,
His birth was a true miracle, in every single way.
Angels came to sing of Him, to the shepherd they convey,
The story of a new born King, in a stable down the way.
Born of the lovely virgin, in a manger he did sleep,
A Star was shining brightly, silence in the streets,
Shepherds came to look on Him, of whom the angels speak,
Child wrapped in swaddling clothes, by a mother’s hand so weak.
What would a lowly shepherd say, to the King of Kings,
Would they weep for the blessing, down on bended knees.
In silence they did behold Him, in wonder of what was seen,
They that guard the secret, of the blessing of all things.
Welcome to this shadowed world, great and mighty King,
You made this world a blessing, You gave us everything.
As a child you give all hope, and the blessing of eternity,
Welcome to Your world, my Lord, both a Child and a King.
Glorious Hallaluia, the angels in heaven sing.
Life is given to you, to lowly man a great King.
Born this day, in a pile of hay, in the town of Bethleham,
The King of King, Lord of Lords, holy precious Lamb.
