WHARTON, TX – I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today
regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have
never been involved with the 9-11 truth movement, and there is no doubt
in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on
9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our
government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No
one can deny that the events on 9-11 were a tragedy for all Americans
and especially those families who lost loved ones.
The question surprised me because it’s not relevant to this race or the
issues facing Texans. This campaign has always been about private
property rights and state sovereignty. It is focused on the issues
facing Texans. It is not a vehicle for the 9-11 truth movement or any
other group.
The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people
have the right to question our government. I think the fact that
people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible
distrust career politicians have fostered by so clearly taking their
direction from special interests instead of the people, whether it’s
Rick Perry and the his HPV mandate or Kay Hutchison and voting for the
bank bailout. It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to
question their government. Texas does not need another politician who
tells you what you want to hear, then violates your liberties and
steals your property anyway. I fully expect to be questioned and to be
held accountable as Governor, and that’s the underlying issue here:
should people be questioning their government. And the answer is yes,
they should be.

…knows how to spell “Ma’am”
Glenn Beck and Pat Gray’s interview with Debra today was absolutely worthless! They apparently had an agenda to discredit her from the beginning. They didn’t allow Debra to even touch on crucial issues facing Texans, like illegal immigration and border security. The only thing they accomplished with thier arrogance and mockery of Debra is solidifying my vote for her and confirming the fact that I have no interest in tuning in to the Glenn Beck show in the future. Shame on them for not allowing Debra Medina to inform the public of who she really is!
You mam are a crack pot who is now spinning.
Good riddance.
Get back up in the attic with Van Jones, Rosie O and the rest of tinfoil hat wearing moonbats.
She lost the race today. I’m really sad because I’ve supported her from the beginning. It’s over now. She should have pushed back forcefully and said “NO” I don’t believe any of that. She did here, but too late. She did not say that with Beck.
Perry is an idiot who lives in the back pocket of special interest.
Hutchison is more D.C than Austin and proved when she voted for the stimulus bill.
Medina is proving to be a nut job now.
So what are we left with? A Democrat?
Terrible Times For Texas…Terrible
Medina is a crackpot and crackpot ideas are being brought to light: 9/11 Truther. Wants to legalize drugs. What else don’t we know about Medina?
The bigger question is for whom is Glenn Beck shilling. He seems to be going out of his way to torpedo the only independent minded conservative candidate in the race for governor of Texas.
Is Beck shilling for Perry, or one of his multitude of financial backers or for Hutchison and one of her big money people.
Beck has built an image as the crusader and the friend of the little guy but now he tries to grab headlines by attacking the only candidate for governor of the second most populous state in America who actually is a defender of the little guy.
You’re a sham Beck. I used to watch and listen to your programs on radio and TV; nevermore.
You should have just said no! End of story. The damage is now done.
