The time to be timid is past.
Our boldness has to advance to the front.
Now is not the time to be bashful.
We need to appear determined and blunt.
We need to be in the likeness of Christ.
We need to mean the words we say.
If we can’t find the courage to stand up tall
We need to get on our knees to pray.
God has promised the courage to stand.
He said the Holy Spirit will our helper be.
When the way is cloudy and not a bit clear
His wisdom will open our eyes to see.
Evil is not being quiet but loud.
He is being as bold as thunder.
He wants to bring so much attention to himself
That our demeanor will appear a blunder.
The world is slipping away into darkness.
Every day people are drawn into the abyss
We need to start shouting out directions
Cause more people the darkness to miss.
We need to be bolder and speak for Christ.
We need to help people to know how to trust.
One day when we stand before Him in Heaven
We will surely want Him to speak for us.

My name is Ruby Harris. I live near Birmingham, Alabama and I write spiritual lessons from Father God in poetry form. I have to live it to write it. I have been doing this since 1984. I am married and have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Two twenty-one year old grandsons are in the Army together. I have one book published and it was delivered just before my husband had open heart surgery. I have given most of them to Doctors and Nurses and other patients that we come across in our “health adventures”. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and God has healed me. A year ago He gave me a photo that is so life changing that you have to see it to believe it. Every poem I share I gets the same reaction. Did you write this just for me? It’s amazing from an amazing God.
