Put all these ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning, and when
you come home at night, your dinner’s ready and waiting for you!
Ingredients:
16 oz. dry black beans
2 tbsp. minced garlic
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. salt
6 cups chicken stock
Ham bone or salt pork
Directions:
Put all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream and/or salsa. You can also put some tortilla chips on the bottom of the bowl and top with Monterey Jack cheese or fresh avocado.
