The Bible is the Word of God
We do our best to follow
The world will do all it can
To make it sound false or hollow
The world doesn’t need
To slap us in the face
It will use subtlety and guile
To make us falter in our race
It will use convincing arguments
To make us question and doubt
But then again it may use
Half truths to fake us out
We must stay on the true path
Of Jesus, the life the truth and the way
We need to be on constant alert
Be on our knee’s and fervently pray
Pray for our Saviour to guide us
When our faith is tested and shaken
Pray He’ll keep us in His truth
So that we are not mis-taken
It seems the end of this age is coming
We cannot stay in our ivory towers
We need to take the battle to them
Preach the true Gospel in these final hours
The Lord of all is coming soon
And the harvest will be brought in
And there will be no more chances
For those who are lost in sin
So believe the Bible, God’s true Word
Believe in Jesus, God’s own dear Son
Faithfully preach the truth of the Gospel
And with His help our race will be won
