How long after we leave worship
Do we forget to remember the word we heard?
How long does it take to fall into our pattern
After mulling over what came from God’s Word?
Did it cause us to reflect in His presence?
Did it strike us in the right place?
Did it make us know we needed to change?
Did we just assume it was covered by grace?
How far did we get from the place of worship
Before we made a slip and lost control?
What place can we go back to and repent
Letting God truly heal the wound in our soul?
We should go into worship with great thankfulness
That of God’s family we are a member?
How far from worship do we get in the outside
When we are shocked into having to remember?
I wonder did we really leave the world outside
As we entered into God’s Holy place to meet
How much of our worship was really real?
How much of the world was tracked in on our feet?
When we leave the place of worship
Where with our Father we were to have shared
How far do we have to get out in the world
To realize that for worship we weren’t really prepared?

About Ruby Harris
My name is Ruby Harris. I live near Birmingham, Alabama and I write spiritual lessons from Father God in poetry form. I have to live it to write it. I have been doing this since 1984. I am married and have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Two twenty-one year old grandsons are in the Army together. I have one book published and it was delivered just before my husband had open heart surgery. I have given most of them to Doctors and Nurses and other patients that we come across in our “health adventures”. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and God has healed me. A year ago He gave me a photo that is so life changing that you have to see it to believe it. Every poem I share I gets the same reaction. Did you write this just for me? It’s amazing from an amazing God.
