EASY CROCK POT CURRY

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of tapioca or sago

1 pound cubed steak

1 large onion chopped

1/2 cup dried green peas

Two medium potatoes, washed, left in skins, and sliced thickly

1 large carrot, unpeeled, ends removed and chopped into thick slices

1 cup beans (frozen or canned)

2 pints water

1 heaped tablespoon Gluten Free curry powder

1 tablespoon of Gluten Free beef gravy mix

1/2 cup lentils – optional

Salt and pepper to taste

1. Pour dried tapioca over base of crock pot (Tapioca is the thickening agent for slow cookers)

2. Place meat and vegetables on top of tapioca

3. Pour in water

4. Mix the curry powder and gravy mix together with a little hot water

5. Add curry liquid to pot and stir through.

6. Add all other ingredients

7. Cook on high for required time for your size crock pot.

8. Stir occasionally

Serve with mashed potato or rice.
