Gary P is editor and publisher of A Time For Choosing as well as a
contributor to Red State, Digital Journal, The Sarah Palin Web Brigade,
The Sarah Palin Information Blog, and other conservative sites. A Time For Choosing is a website based on solid Ronald Reagan/Sarah
Palin conservatism. We give no apologies, and accept no substitutes. This website is named after Ronald Reagan’s iconic 1964 speech at
the Republican National Convention of the same name. Although, A Time
For Choosing is the speech’s official title, it is so iconic, so well
known, and so highly quoted, it is simply known as “The Speech.”It’s time for all Americans to choose the nation they wish to live
in. do they want to continue to live in a free nation and retain their
God given liberties, or do they want to allow someone to take it all
away?Do Americans want a nation where they can live their lives as they
see fit, or do they want a totalitarian, oppressive government? It is a time for choosing.

yes what he said
Hey guys you voted for him! As for BP, if you hire a taxi & it runs down a pedestrian because the brakes fail who is responsible – the hirer, the owner or the mechanic who did the shoddy brake service. See BP, Transocean & Haliburton & ask why O’bummer & his crew of yappy little dogs are only going after BP.
This is genius! I guess it’s some brilliant political move of his to also front an organization that mailed out petitions against him back in December?
As for errors by Democrats – and I said the same about the President Who Apparently Must Not Be Named For Fear of Being Accused of Bush Derangement Syndrome – if you’re permanently under the media spotlight, with your every word recorded, it’s natural that there’ll be a flub every now and then.
I’m not talking here about slips of the tongue or tiredness, which can account for most of both Obama’s and Bush’s slips. Nothing in Couric’s interview, in Gibson’s interview or since then has suggested to me that Palin is particularly well-informed about world affairs. There have been too many weird missteps (not knowing what the Bush Doctrine is; alleging nonexistent Russian incursions into Alaskan airspace; speaking of Africa as a single country; and on, and on…)
Obama’s rhetorical problem is more that he can lapse into being too professorial about some things, like nuclear nonproliferation. But that’s what happens when you put an author and law lecturer in the White House. I didn’t expect anything different. Besides, most of my friends are professors, so I’m used to it, but others might find it condescending or opaque.
Yes, James, it’s all a giant conspiracy to make her look ill-informed. It couldn’t possibly be that she is.
Also? When they showed footage of that Quayle episode with the potatoes on the lamestream media? Totally edited to make him look stupid. Come on, man. The Vice-President not being able to spell “potato”? Man, you musta really drunk the Kool-Aid.
Just because something can be edited that way, doesn’t mean that it was.
Actually, I like the Constitution, which is why I object to things like the Executive deciding that it can arbitrarily assassinate an American citizen (al-Awlaki). I simply, as best as I can see it, can see nothing unconstitutional whatever about the healthcare reform proposal that passed.
We’ll never know whether Sarah Palin’s answers were as dumb as they seemed in the Katy Curic interview.
I’ve been in TV all of my life and I can make anyone look stupid, insane or psychotic if I am allowed to shoot a taped, then edited interview…which is what the geniuses in McCain’s camp allowed CBS to do to Palin.
Regardless, she’s certainly proved since then to be a formidable opponent to the liberal socialists of our time.
Chris Matthews even went so far as to openly say that the problem is the progressives haven’t done a good enough job selling a “social state” to the America people.
The facades are coming down now that the liberals feel empowered by their health care victory and some are now starting to admit who they really are.
When do you come out of the closet Zander and admit that you’d like to see the Constitution shredded, too?
She discredits herself, but we all know its okay when Barack Obama says there are 58 states or with his phony-baloney comments like this one as reported by Michele Malkin:
“The ‘Southside kid’ can’t come up with the name of a single Chicago White Sox player, though he takes great pains to mention that he lived by ‘Cominskey’ (sic…double sic) Park… Can you imagine if Sarah Palin or George W. Bush had flubbed the softball question like the Gaffe Machine-in-Chief?”
Indeed, Palin is fairly good at discrediting herself. How hard would it have been, when she was asked during the campaign, to name a newspaper or news site that she reads, instead of looking like a flounder?
what evidence is there that obama sent this message? people discredit palin all on their own.
Sarah Palin is an effective speaker who clearly energizes her audience. Give her credit for that, but SHE IS A HORRIBLE SPOKESPERSON FOR THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF ALASKA. This isn’t political, it’s just sickening.
Sarah Palin will be joke on Fox News you shout as you check her ratings each time she appears and then toss your tofu because millions watch.
She’s going to have a “reality show” your over-paid media mouth pieces shouted and scoffed when it was learned that Palin was pitching a new show. You tried to paint her in the same light as a Kardashian (flaming liberals, by the way).
Then you hear it’s a nature show about her home state of Alaska so you attack her credibility to speak in favor of Alaska?
Here’s why you’re shaking in your Birkenstocks…you know full well that on Discovery, with a show about the natural beauty of Alaska, Sarah Palin will find a new audience. Those who haven’t followed her politically, or who are still on the fence, will tune in and discover an incredibly likable human being – and she’ll win over more voters.
You trashed her book all the way to the top of the New York Times best seller list.
You’ve trashed her to the point where she speaks to sold out crowds where ever she goes.
You’ve made her such a celebrity that you’ve made her virtually unstopable and because you attacks have been so vile and simultaneously outlandish you’ve destroyed your own credibility, and the credibility of any future attacks thereby encasing Palin in pure Teflon.
What a bunch of nincompoops you all are. If you had never mentioned her name again after the 2008 election, she would have faded from the scene.
Instead you’ve succeeded in shoving every potential GOP challenger into the shadows while lifting Palin up on a pedestal.
You see, you don’t understand America. You don’t understand Americans. Ultimately, we don’t like bullies. We don’t like to see people bullied. We especially don’t like to see women bullied. And we root for the one taking the abuse, particularly when does it the class and verve that Sarah Palin has exhibited while you trashed her social class, her femininity, her motherhood, her husband, her children and her grandchild.
You should all be so proud of yourselves. How do you keep from choking on your own bile?
You say you’re in Ireland…So you don’t vote in America. So, shut your whiskey hole.
When Sarah Palin speaks the left tremble ? I dunno, from my point of view in Ireland she lost John Mc Cain the election, she was like George Bush but funnier. It would have scared me immensely if she and Mc Cain had won, but in a Manchurian Candidate kind of way.
You didn’t notice that anyone can make a petition on change.gov? Somehow a petition someone else wrote is coming from Obama himself? Good lord get over your hyperventilating paranoia.
She is the wort representative to showcase the natural beauty of Alaska as she has done so much to destroy it. Get a clue.
