Where am I?
Why am I here?
What am I doing?
Lord, I want to do your will.
Why is it so hard?
What do I do now?
Where do I go from here?
Lord, just show me what to do.
How do I know if this is right?
Have I been on the right path?
Has everything I done been to your will?
Lord, I know it is, it’s just so hard.
Where you’re leading, Lord, is not an easy road. You say that you are with me no matter where I am. Yet, sometimes I feel so lost. I wander through a maze of challenges, pain and confrontations. I’m not worthy to take this long and winding road you have set before me, but my heart doesn’t give me any choice. My heart is set on You and the vision of the cross, the reason for this road I take. Lord, never let me go. Stay beside me as I walk this long and narrow way. Show me through this maze and guide me so I that I will be ready to fulfill my vocation—a destination that will be just the beginning…and not the end. I’m tired, Lord, but I know that you are with me on this long and winding road. Amen.
