People still believe in America
They salute and carry the flag with pride
They stand firm in backing our soldiers
They honor those who have died
We are still believing for world peace
IT seems our Soldiers will have a strong part
THey will stand and they will defend
For freedom is of the heart
America is the heart of freedom beating
Stirring the desire for all to be free
Wiping out dictators and all other enemies
That won’t allow this to be
We must believe in America
We must value the founding Fathers desire
That the love of freedom would live in us
Keep burning inside like a raging fire
If we lose our freedom for lack of courage
Then what a sad legacy that would declare
All those before us would have died in vain
Their blood needing to be atoned somewhere
The past has created for us a future
The future must be loving America still
If it is loved with dedication and passion
Then, America will our dreams fulfill

About Ruby Harris
My name is Ruby Harris. I live near Birmingham, Alabama and I write spiritual lessons from Father God in poetry form. I have to live it to write it. I have been doing this since 1984. I am married and have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Two twenty-one year old grandsons are in the Army together. I have one book published and it was delivered just before my husband had open heart surgery. I have given most of them to Doctors and Nurses and other patients that we come across in our “health adventures”. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and God has healed me. A year ago He gave me a photo that is so life changing that you have to see it to believe it. Every poem I share I gets the same reaction. Did you write this just for me? It’s amazing from an amazing God.
