Non-profit industry leaders, telephone carriers and technologists are joining the Innovative Giving Conference entitled ‘Mobile Giving and Communication Demystified’ held September 27th – 28th in Malibu.
LOS ANGELES – The Innovative Giving Foundation (IGF), www.innogive.org, a 501C (3) organization established to provide non-profits with education and best practice solutions through mobile giving, announced that a prestigious initial list of speakers have been booked for the inaugural Innovative Giving Conference set to be held on September 27th – 28th on the campus of Pepperdine University in Malibu. Named “Mobile Giving Demystified,” this conference will be the first opportunity where non-profits, telephone carriers and technology leaders can come together to strategize, teach, and learn about the latest in mobile and innovative giving tools and strategies.
The format for conference is like no other and will combine fifteen minute TEDesque inspirational pitches, with break out panels and hands on classes. Speakers include: David Diggs, vice president of wireless at CTIA; Ken Barun, Pioneer of the Ronald McDonald Houses and current executive vice president of Billy Graham Evangelical; Michael Iaccarino, chief executive officer of Mobile Messenger; Dan Busby, president of ECFA; Andy Benton, president of Pepperdine, and Paige Hemmis of television’s Extreme Makeover on ABC who is serving as the organization’s charitable giving ambassador, will all address all attendees at the conference. The conference will offer those in the non-profit, faith, education, disaster, cause and political-based sectors charged with fundraising and constituent relations, an opportunity to become experts in mobile giving, mobile communications, and overall mobile strategies. These strategies will include real-life examples of how users of mobile services are enhancing their cause’s reach and relevance.
