It’s hard to find a friend like you—
Someone mighty special.
We’ve laughed and cried together,
and prayed some special prayers.
You had given me your friendship,
And even shared your thoughts…
It means a lot to me—
to be your special friend.
When sadness hit you hard,
I sensed that pain you felt,
And prayed with you and for you,
Eager for your pain to ease.
I know we are an ocean apart,
But I treasure what we have…
There’s nothing like the friend
I know I have in you.
