We’re walking hand in hand.
We journey side by side.
Hold nothing back,
No secrets keep.
You know me deep inside.
You always lead me on.
We never are apart.
But intertwined
We walk as one.
Your presence fills my heart.
We’re closer ev’ry day,
Your thoughts becoming mine.
I listen close
To words so true.
Our thoughts are intertwined.
Although I leap ahead
Or lag behind, it’s true,
With tighter hold
You redirect,
Keep me in step with you.
And when I look ahead,
Although there’s cause for fear,
In gracious hand,
Feel comforted
Just knowing You are near.
No matter where we go,
Our footprints left behind
Will always match
If I obey,
And we stay intertwined.
I have fond memories
Of moments pure and true.
So intimate,
In candid times,
You made me more like You.
I’m blessed to walk with You
You’ve given me true joy.
Inhale Your peace,
Soak in Your hope
That nothing can destroy.
So as we walk as one,
Your truth fills up my mind.
I gaze at You
Each step we take,
We’re always intertwined.
