KATY – The district’s Emergency
Management Team has reviewed the latest information from the National Weather
Service this morning and based on the most recent weather reports it is not
foreseen that there will be any accumulation of snow or ice in the Katy area
prior to the dismissal of school. As such, there will be no early dismissal
today. All Schools will dismiss at their normal times.
Extracurricular Activities
- All afterschool and evening activities for Thursday,
Feb. 3 have been cancelled, including tutorials - There will be YMCA afterschool care for those students
participating in the YMCA program.
The district’s Emergency Management
Team will be meeting later today to review the latest weather reports from the
National Weather Service and make a determination as to the status of school
for Friday, Feb. 4. It is anticipated that a decision will be made prior to end
of the school day.
