PINK, PEDESTAL, PEACE

pink throne

Your soul in this whirlwind

Sometimes reels with emotion

The upheavals of the world

All around you, near and far…

Have somehow imprinted upon your countenance

Then suddenly the King

Offers refuge and lifts you

Onto this polished throne

Of finest pink granite…

Where your soul, spirit, body

Embrace the peace and the pleasure

Of the true world your inhabit

No, not this pilgrim’s passage

But the heaven of heavens

Where bright faced flowers surround

And eagerly share their pure fragrance

And dance to your delight

Shining, blazing, rosy sunshine

Never more dark of night…

Warm the chair that I sit on

And permeate me with light…

Eternal comforting power

Reaching down from this height…

Pink, Pedestal, Peace…
