A light dessert, perfect for summer!
Ingredients:
Sugar cookie dough
Cool whip
Cream cheese
Your favorite fruits
Directions:
Roll out the sugar cookie dough in a 13×9 pan and cook according to package directions. (I use the Pillsbury tube in the refrigerated section).
While that’s cooking, mix a container of Cool Whip and a container of cream cheese together.
After the cookie dough has cooked and cooled, spread the Cool Whip mixture over the cookie. Then add your favorite fruits.
You can get real creative with this recipe and the kids love it (so do the adults)!
For Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day or the 4th of July, use blueberries and strawberries to create an American flag. Put the blueberries in the top left corner where the stars of the flag are, and alternate the strawberries and cool whip for the stripes.
You could do a rainbow using blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges and strawberries. Just use your imagination, have fun and enjoy!
