MIAMI, FL- The Empowered21 journey is an international story of significant proportion that is changing lives and enriching ministries on every continent around the globe. It was a little over one year ago that the Empowered21 Global Congress on Holy Spirit Empowerment was held in Tulsa, OK on the campus of Oral Roberts University: the culminating event of 17 unique conversation events that were held around the world with leaders, scholars and new generation voices to ascertain their insights into the issues facing the movement in the 21st Century. Over 10,000 people from 96 nations attended the Tulsa Congress.
During the latter part of 2010 and early 2011, Empowered21, has witnessed the spreading of the concern for future generations in the Spirit-empowered church through the formation of 9 of 11 Empowered21 regional leadership cabinets in Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, Francophone Afrique, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. These top-tier leadership teams are forming to focus on crucial issues faced by Spirit-empowered churches around the world. Spirit-empowered Christianity is the fastest growing movement within Christianity with over 640 million believers or one-third of all adherents to Christianity. In some nations like Nigeria, Guatemala, Korea and others, Pentecostal/Charismatics number over 50% and at times over 75% of all evangelical Christians.
Inspirational leadership for the Empowered21 initiative is given by the Empowered21 Global Council, which is a group of over 40 denominational and ministry leaders representing the broad diversity of the Spirit-empowered movement, from historic Pentecostal groups to the Charismatic Catholic Renewal Service. This Global Council meets once a year to provide oversight and inspirational direction to all the Empowered21 regional cabinets. Jack Hayford, President of The King’s University and Billy Wilson serve as co-chairs of the Empowered21 Global Council.

The potential to see an earth shaking renewal that will draw new generations into the greatest harvest in human history is before us,” said Billy Wilson, Executive Director of International Center For Spiritual Renewal, Chair of the E21 USA cabinet and Co-Chair, E21 Global Council.
Cyprus, Greece was the location for the recent inaugural cabinet meeting for Empowered21 Middle East. An esteemed group of leaders gathered to discuss Empowered21 Middle Eastintentions. It is necessary to withhold the leaders’ identities for security purposes do to the sensitivity of this region, as many of these leaders are risking their lives to be a part of Empowered21 Middle East. This cabinet is co-chaired by two leading Spirit-empowered pastors from the Middle East, Chady El-aoud from Beirut, Lebanon and Wayne Hilsden from Jerusalem, Israel.
The Empowered21 Hispanic Congress also met April 11-12, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas with tremendous unity and vigor. The E21 Hispanic Congress will act as a chapter of E21 in partnership with the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (www.NHCLC.org) who will give administrative oversight to this team. The E21 Hispanic Congress’s mission is to recapture and revive Holy Spirit empowerment through a positive, engaging movement for the 21st century next generation of Hispanics worldwide.
Most recently Empowered21 Latin America met in Miami, Fla. in a multi-generational, multi-denominational gathering. Their next meeting will be October 11-13, 2011 in Orlando, Fla. Rev. Omar Cabrera Jr. of Argentina said, “What a blessing to be a part of Empowered21 Latin America and to see firsthand what many ministries are doing in raising up a priestly generation just as God instructed Moses and Aaron. I received the apostolic mantle from my father 10 years ago and now I see that a new wave of anointed disciples is being raised to continue with the calling God has placed on their fathers. Glorious things will happen in Latin America for the kingdom. May God continue using Empowered21 to raise a new generation sensitive to the Holy Spirit.” The Empowered21 Latin America cabinet is co-chaired by Claudio Freidzon of King of Kings church in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Juanita Cercone of the Enlace TBN television network, the most prolific Spirit-empowered network in Latin America.
From the 10,000 people gathered at Oral Roberts University during the Empowered21 Global Congress last April to now witnessing a global network featuring dynamic leadership teams, unique events and ministry innovation… Empowered21 is serving a movement and empowering a generation for Jesus Christ.
