SPRING ISD – Rocket Ranger and Clutch entertain students at Winship Elementary School while bringing a serious message. During a schoolwide assembly, the mascot for the Houston Rockets emphasized the importance of staying drug-free. The assembly was held during Red Ribbon Week, a national drug and violence prevention campaign held annually in late October. Spring ISD schools districtwide scheduled activities to help raise student awareness of the dangers of using tobacco, alcohol and other drugs.
