SPRING ISD – The Spring High School Chorale and Spring High School Percussion Ensemble have been selected as 2011 National Mark of Excellence winners. The Chorale, directed by David Landgrebe and Steffanie Dean, won in two categories, mixed choir and open division. The percussion ensemble is directed by J.D. Guzman. The Mark of Excellence is a competition, entered by submitting recordings, in which the top quarter are selected as National Winners. This year 161 of the finest musical ensembles from 32 states entered the competition.
