TOMBALL ISD – Jo Ann Colson was announced as the principal of Timber Creek Elementary School, which will be Tomball ISD’s eighth elementary campus. For the past nine years, Colson has been the principal of Willow Creek Elementary. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University where she completed a bachelor of science in education in 1985 and a master of education in 1998. Colson is currently completing a doctorate of educational leadership at Lamar University. In 2011, Colson was named the Tomball ISD District Elementary Principal of the Year. Timber Creek Elementary, located in The Woodlands, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2012.
