Skewers
will offer an imaginative three-course menu with a variety of
selections for just $35 per person plus tax and gratuity. The price
includes a Champagne toast. This dinner will be available for three
seatings, beginning at 6 p.m. with a second at 7 p.m. and the third at 8
p.m. The regular menu will not be available. As the early birds fly,
however, the restaurant goes into full party mode. At 9:30,
international singer Youssef (he performs in French, Spanish, English
and Arabic) starts the evening’s live entertainment as guests settle in
for a very special four-course dinner created from the best of Skewer’s
popular new menu. Guests have several choices for each course. During
and after dinner, guests may take to the dance floor, something bound to
keep the night lively. And of course what would New Year’s Eve
be without a belly dancer? Skewer’s has one of the most popular ones,
and she takes the stage at 10:30. The evening continues to progress
until the significant stroke of midnight when celebrants will raise a
toast of complimentary champagne and the noise level with complimentary
party favors. The cost for the 9:30 p.m. dinner, entertainment and
program is just $75 per person plus tax and gratuity.

As
seating is limited, a credit card number is required to secure
reservations to the early dinner seatings and for the New Year’s Eve
Dinner Party. There is a $25 charge for failure to show without prior
cancellation. There is no charge for cancellations made 24 hours or more

menu. First course options are Zuppa

or Tricolore – endive, arugula, radicchio, lemon vinaigrette, spicy
hazelnuts, grana cheese. Second course options includeAragosta– polenta-crusted lobster cake with butternut squash, oyster mushrooms, pancetta, tomato and bianco sauce; Quaglia –
wood-grilled quail over soft polenta with mostarda di frutta; and
Cappesante – seared diver scallop over granny smith apple and pancetta
risotto, with saba. Main course options are Fileto – wood-grilled
petite filet, butternut squash puree, broccolini, wild mushrooms and
chianti demi glace; Mattoni di Pollo – half chicken cooked under a brick
with olive oil mashed potatoes, rapini, natural sauce and olives; and
Tortellini – pasta stuffed with smoked mozzarella tossed with portabella
mushrooms and marinara sauce. For dessert, choose from Torta al
Cioccolata – flourless chocolate cake with vanilla gelato; Crema –
buttermilk custard with orange marmalade and burnt sugar crust; and
Panna Cotta – Italy’s famous cooked cream dessert with berries. Cost
