By Jason Kirk Bartley
I choose you, God,
when the going gets tough.
I choose you, God,
though I feel I’m never enough.
In a sinful world which tempts and tries,
only on you will I keep my eyes.
I choose you.
I choose you, Lord,
to guide my ways.
I choose you for that
brighter day.
In my weakness, yet am I strong,
because I choose you all the day long.
You are the Lord of my mornings when I arise.
You watch over me when I close my eyes.
I will always choose you, my Lord.
