The word quickly spread and PrayFit

He added: “We need to be good
stewards of our bodies. God didn’t wrap us up in money; he wrapped us up in
skin and bones. We need to honor God with our bodies and it doesn’t require a
lot of time. People will be surprised as to how soon they reach ‘fatigue’ with
the Prayfit workout, and how quickly their bodies will change.”
When asked “Why 33 days and 33 minutes a day?” Peña showed his fervor
for God.
“I chose 33 to for two reasons: First, to honor the life of Christ. Jesus
gave 33 earthly years to us. He can relate to us and understand us. There’s no
magic in the number; just honor. Secondly, as a physiologist, I have found a
month-long program to be a perfect program to create habits and to see lasting
physical change. To honor Him and help us with habits, 33 is perfect.”
