MAGNOLIA ISD – On Friday, January 13th, 2012, Magnolia ISD held its annual Rodeo Art Show sponsored by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The School Art Committee Judges reviewed all of the district’s artwork entries. Magnolia High School students Senior Katlynn Hallisey and Junior Katrina English were selected as Gold Medal winners. They will have their artwork on display at Reliant Arena for the duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo season and will be honored at a special ceremony on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012. They will also have the opportunity to have their artwork compete against the artwork of other Houston area winners for a chance to be auctioned in the Rodeo’s School Art Auction. Congratulations to each and every one of these artists on a job well done.
