MAGNOLIA ISD – UIL Academics competed in their first
invitational meet at Seven Lakes High School on Saturday. Magnolia High School was represented by
almost 50 students who competed in many different academic events. CTE students had great success in Computer
Applications and Accounting.
Placing in Computer Applications: Jireh Groenow -4th place, Fabian
Leal – 8th place, and Emily Burch – 9th place. Placing in Accounting: Bethany Mandrell – 1st place,
Michaela Miller – 9th place and the Accounting team (Bethany
Mandrell, Michaela Miller and Christina Crockett) placed 2nd. We are very proud of all the students who
completed and are looking forward to our next meet here at MHS on February
4.
