HOUSTON, TX – Downtown Aquarium’s Romance Under-the-Sea Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Package is the perfect way to enjoy an elegant evening for two.
The Nautilus Ballroom will transform into the ultimate romantic setting filled with tables for two, a complimentary bottle of wine and a culinary-inspired romantic four-course meal. To top off the evening, couples will enjoy a rose for her and a souvenir photo to mark the occasion.
The evening’s menu will include your choice of one selection from each course:
Appetizer
-Roasted corn and quail cakes with red quinoa, cilantro-tamarind-date sauce
-Seared shrimp with fresno – corn relish, beef stick, pumpkin seed oil
-Sweet potato risotto with crab meunière
Soup or Salad
-Roasted butternut squash with sautéed mache
-Aquarium Caesar with fresh parmesan cheese, croutons, and classic caesar dressing
Entree
-NY strip with anna potatoes, kaitifi wrapped asparagus, beef jus
-Chilean Sea Bass, steamed, seared and carpachhio with cilantro rice, chocolate cream with habanero oil
-Roasted spring chicken with fennel-parsnip puree, pepper-nutmeg consommé
Dessert
-Frozen crème brulee disc with concord grape caviar, sugarcane foam
-Chocolate Cherry Cake with chocolate sauce
