CLEMENTS HIGH SCHOOL TO PERFORM ‘URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL’

FORT BEND ISD – The Clements High School Fine Arts Department presents Urinetown, the Musical on February 2, 3, 4 and 6 at 7:00 pm in the Clements High School Auditorium (4200 Elkins Road, Sugar Land, 77479).

Urinetown, the Musical is a story of a fictional place that has been suffering a drought for 30 years. One man, Caldwell B. Cladwell, sought to control the use of water by purchasing all the public amenities while making everyone pay to use them. During that same period, the legislature banned the use of private toilets. Suffice it to say, this man became very wealthy as the poor suffered more and more until one young man, Bobby Strong, convinced the suffering poor to rebel against Cladwell and the corrupt government officials.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased at the campus for $5, beginning January 30. For more information, please call Paul Shaffer at 281-634-2206.
