TURLINGTON ELEMENTARY CHOIR SINGS FOR HOUSTON AEROS FANS

WALLER ISD – Evelyn Turlington Elementary School choir students were invited to perform at the January 20th 7:30 p.m. Houston Aeros Hockey Game at the Toyota Center in downtown Houston. 40 choir students got the crowed pepped up as they performed three songs during the game. The choir sang Dynamite by Taio Cruz, My Wish by Rascal Flatts, and True Colors- Glee Version, made popular by pop singer Cyndi Lauper. The crowd went wild when 3rd grade student Aniston Rodriguez sang a solo version of the Cyndi Lauper song.

The choir was made up of 3rd ,4th, and 5th grade students: Adrian Rojas, Adriana Guyah, Alvaro Muniz, Aniston Rodriguez, Ashton Steffey, Bryce Steffey, Christian Lawton, Cole Mitchell, Conner Noble, Cory Hutson, Cristal De Santiago, Daniela Hernandez, Emily Falkenberg, Kaleb DeVous, Karla Hernandez, Kelly Lazo, Kristin Porter, Kristin Winner, Kylee Lattanzi, Laura Martinez, Lorena Capistron, Luke Fourrier, Melody Richards, Naila Martinez, Payton Coursey, Riki Nardiello, Riley Meeves, Sara Richards, Savannah Burrow, Savannah Gilmore, Saylor Schmidt, Sophia Oswalt, Sydney Loveless, Taylor Coursey, Velicity Morgan, and Zach Krause.

The choir is directed by Choir Teacher Paula Mueller. The students received a Houston Aeros team jersey and a free ticket to return to the February 5th game.
