Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program is hosting the 2012 Destinations Galore Travel Show Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble. This free event is open to the public and designed to assist Harris County senior adult trip coordinators, as well as the traveling public, with trip planning information.
This transportation show offers one-stop shopping for great trip ideas to interesting destinations throughout southeast Texas. More than 100 vendors from historical societies, chambers of commerce, trip and tour operators, special event coordinators, museums, parks, theaters, annual festivals, craft shows, and restaurants will be showcased. A lunch which includes a chopped barbeque sandwich, chips, and a drink, can be purchased for $6.50.
Additionally, the show gives group leaders from multi-care facilities with special-needs residents the opportunity to gather information directly from destination representatives.
