Dinner series to benefit college
students through scholarships, educational and social programs
DALLAS / FORT WORTH,
TX – The Hispanic Leadership Alliance (H.L.A.)
co-founder Dr. Juan Hernandez along with former Mexican President, Vicente Fox,
proudly announce The Vicente Fox Presidential Dinner Series Forum of World
Leaders and Presidential Dinner Series 2012starting with The Honorable
Jean Chretien, Prime Minister of Canada. The Prime Minister will speak about
global issues that concern our region and the relationship between Canada, the
United States and Mexico, particularly the importance of NAFTA. The dinner will
be held Wednesday, February 15 at the Fort Worth Club at 6:30 p.m.
“The Hispanic Leadership Alliance is dedicated to the advancement of Texas
Hispanics and we understand through education comes empowerment,” says Juan
Hernandez, co founder of Hispanic Leadership Alliance. “Our relationship with
former Mexican President Vicente Fox has provided H.L.A. the opportunity for
Texas Hispanic students to learn from world leaders’ experiences and to hear of
the many difficult challenges faced during their tenure. We are ever grateful
to Presidente Fox for his commitment and contributions to education.”
Along with Centro Fox, the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, and in
cooperation with Fort Worth Sister Cities International, the Fort Worth
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, The
Vicente Fox Presidential Dinner Series is one of six “State of the World Addresses”
given by global leaders who have served or are still serving their countries.
The first dinner was held in November 2011 with the Honorable Vicente Fox. The
former Mexican President will also be present and will speak at all of the
forums.
Proceeds will benefit students in Texas and Mexico through scholarships,
educational and social programs administered by Centro Fox and Hispanic
