WALLER HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS ‘DANCING WITH THE STAFF’

WALLER ISD – On Tuesday morning, January 31st, several students paired up with their teachers to dance to various music choices in the high school auditorium. Each partner pair competed against each other to win the ultimate dance trophy.

Dance numbers were performed by teacher Katrina Comp and Taylor Hodges dancing to “Pop Mix”; teachers Debbie Worthington and Amy Frey danced with Ashley Alfaro, Sean Hill, and Caitlin Bettencourt to “I Like to Move It”; teacher Mel Daigle teamed up with son Christian Daigle to perform “Blues Brothers”; teacher Seth Marable danced with Yndalecia Ojeda and Cameron Madden to “Ice Ice Baby” and took the 3rd place spot; teachers Karmen Berry, Adella Ramirez, and Stephanie Hendrix danced with students Juan Tamez, Nichole Stubblefield, Ashley Vogel, Christian Stubblefield, Cheyenne Vaughan, Eric Castro, and Cameron Madden to “Move Your Body” and took the 2nd place spot; and the winning 1st place team consisting of bookkeeper Tricia Moellers and students Tanner Holley, Marc Nelson, John Shepard, and Christian Creath imitated In Sync by dancing and lip syncing to “Bye, Bye, Bye”. After the performances, the audience voted for their favorite dance number.
