WILLOWBROOK MALL RELEASES ‘MY SCHOOL’S COOL’ STANDINGS AS COMPETITION ENTERS LAST MONTHS

2011-12 Competition Ends Monday, April 16; Schools Vie for Share of $20,000 in Cash

HOUSTON, TX – Points have been tabulated and Willowbrook Mall has released the standings as of January 31 in the My School’s Cool competition, where area schools can win a share of $20,000 in cash prizes.

Of the participating schools, the top five in the lead are:

St. Anne Catholic School-Tomball
Farney Elementary School
Black Elementary School
Hamilton Elementary
Cook Middle School

Other participating schools include Bang Elementary, Campbell Middle School, Epps Island Elementary, Goodman Elementary, Kirk Elementary and Matzke Elementary.

Willowbrook Mall shopping receipts dated Saturday, August 6, 2011 through Monday, April 16, 2012 can be redeemed for points at Customer Service, located in Center Court. Points will be tallied in late April with cash awards going to the schools with the most points.

“There are just over two months remaining in the My School’s Cool competition, so it’s still anyone’s guess who will take home top honors,” says Ellen Kendall, marketing manager for Willowbrook Mall. “Everyone should remember to turn in his or her receipts.”

My School’s Cool provides a level playing field for all schools, regardless of the number of students enrolled. Winners are chosen based on the number of points.
