Astros offseason call-in radio show continues live from Buffalo Wild Wings in Midtown
HOUSTON, TX – Houston Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane will be tonight’s guest on the club’s popular Astroline call-in radio show at 7 p.m. Hosted by Hall of Fame Broadcaster Milo Hamilton, Astroline,presented by Budweiser, is broadcast live from Buffalo Wild Wings at 510 Gray Street.
The
show is open to the public and airs on the club’s flagship station,
KTRH 740 AM. Listeners can call the show with questions at 713-212-5874.

The
purchase of the Houston Astros by Crane and a group of mostly-local
investors was approved unanimously by Major League Baseball on November
17, 2011. After a series of meetings with Astros season ticket holders,
Crane introduced several fan-friendly initiatives for the 2012 season,
including a reduction in ticket prices on various levels, rebates for
season ticket holders and a new policy allowing fans to bring food and
water into Minute Maid Park. Crane also took part in the Astros Winter
CAREavan in February.
Hamilton
began his Hall of Fame radio career as a disc jockey on the Armed
Forces Radio Network during Thanksgiving week in 1945. The 2012 season
will be his 28th with the Astros and his 59th year broadcasting Major
League Baseball.
Tonight’s Astroline is the 12th of 18 scheduled shows during its five-month run leading into the 2012 baseball season. Later this month, Astroline
will move to Florida, where it will be broadcast live from the ESPN
Club restaurant, located at the Disney Boardwalk. The first of four
broadcasts from Florida will be on Feb. 29.
Astroline
features interviews, news and information on the Houston Astros. The
show features a different guest each week, ranging from current and
former Astros players to front office personnel.
